    A postpaid billing mode in which the ECS will be billed based on usage frequency and duration. This mode is ideal when you want more flexibility and control on ECS usage.

    Spot Price

    A postpaid billing mode in which the ECS will be billed based on the price that is effective for the time period it is being used. This mode is slightly more cost-effective than pay-per-use, and the spot price will be adjusted gradually based on market price or trends in supply and demand.

    Reserved Instance
    An RI provides a discount that is slightly more cost-effective for pay-per-use ECSs. The discount applies when you buy an RI and then buy an ECS with the same attributes or when you have an existing ECS and buy an RI with the same attributes. Zonal RIs also reserve capacity for pay-per-use ECSs.
